Principal Photographer
A master of lighting and composition, Dan was formally trained at the highly acclaimed Hallmark Institute of Photography. His exceptional technical skills, combined with the sensitivity of an artist, are evident in every uniquely crafted image. Years of photographing weddings, international competitions, corporate figures, models, actors, and architecture have garnered him the distinction of being a versatile and imaginative leader in his field serving clients from coast to coast. Away from the camera, Dan is an avid hiker, fisherman, and numismatist.

Irena

Photographer
During her childhood in Eastern Europe, Irena developed a love for photography by studying her family’s old black-and-white photo albums. As a teenager she visited her birthplace and discovered some long-lost relatives, who taught her how to develop and print black-and-white photographs and generously gave Irena her first camera. When she returned to West Germany, Irena took her first photography class and later attended the world renowned Brooks Institute in California, where she earned a BA in Professional Photography with a major in portraiture. Today, Irena uses her skills in capturing the right moment in her client’s experience. A devoted equestrian, she finds her joy in horses and is inspired by Elvis Presley.

Brandi

​A Virginia Beach native, Brandi shuttles between Roanoke and her home on the coast to photograph children and weddings. She was exposed to the world of photography at a very young age and began shooting professionally in 2007. Brandi has a special gift for highlighting the emotional energy behind each shot and seeks out the little details that add meaningful dimension to every image. Her perfectly timed candids form the essential backbone to every love story. Brandi enjoys impromptu dance parties and painting with her nine-year-old son.

Sara

Photographer
​Spending her childhood at Smith Mountain Lake, VA, Sara grew up with an appreciation for the beauty of nature. She studied photography at Ferrum College and began shooting professionally in 2002. With clients in Virginia, Florida, and California, Sara uses her considerable talent and experience to capture the special scenes as each wedding unfolds. Sara’s fashion savvy shows in her attention to the grace of movement and individual details of her subject’s garments. Her work is often featured in local magazines. With sand in her shoes, Sara finds her bliss on the beach.

Jeanne

Consultant + Calligrapher
Having spent her life traveling the world, Jeanne now makes her home in Roanoke, VA. Her love of photography began when she started modeling as a child. She eventually moved behind the camera to work as an art director, set designer, and stylist for internationally renowned photographers and production companies in New York, Washington, DC, Miami, Dallas, and Los Angeles. She has had the pleasure of working with Dan since 2004. A passionate writer and artist, Jeanne writes for numerous publications and specializes in decoupage, calligraphy, and illustration.
